Danuel R. Stanger is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Bridge. He has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development and investments since its inception in 1997, approves all commitments by the company and is responsible for day-to-day management of the group’s investment activities. In particular, he has responsibility for market and individual investment analysis, transaction structuring and planning, development and joint venture equity partner relationships. Mr. Stanger began his real estate career in 1985, on the heels of a banking career with Prudential Federal and American Savings, directing credit restructuring and workouts before taking responsibility for the bank’s commercial REO division. He left the bank in 1988 to found Strategic Management and Consulting, which focused on property management and the resolution of distressed commercial properties including retail, industrial, medical office, hospitality and residential real estate. Mr. Stanger merged this company into Prowswood Companies in 1992, where he became Vice-President and Managing Director of the Equity Management division. He left Prowswood in 1997 to form CDS Investments, Inc. the predecessor company to Bridge Investment Group. Mr. Stanger has participated in many industry affiliates and earned the CCIM designation. He has been a member of many community organizations, and served on the Board of Neighborhood Housing Services, and as a Founding Member of the Utah Community Reinvestment Corporation, an organization established by the Utah Banking community to invest funds in residential and commercial communities throughout Utah.
Christian V. Young is Chairman and Co-Founder of Bridge. He has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development and investments since its inception in 1997 and approves all commitments by the company. In particular, Mr. Young has focused on capital syndication, investor relations, development analysis, transaction structuring, real estate tax/legal issues, corporate finance and administration, and strategic planning. In 1997, Mr. Young formed CDS Investments, Inc., the predecessor company to Bridge Investment Group. From 1990 to 1997, Mr. Young was the President of Acorn Development Corp., which successfully invested syndicated equity capital into commercial investment real estate projects in the Western United States identified, financed, managed and sold by Messrs. Stanger, Allara, Minnick, Andrus and Stayner.
D. Russell Minnick is President and Chief Operating Officer of Bridge. He has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development and investments since joining the company in 1999 and created the property and asset management division (Bridge Property Management, LLC) in 2000. He now has primary responsibility for overseeing the company’s acquisition, negotiations, underwriting, due diligence, dispositions, development, construction oversight, strategic asset and property management activities. Mr. Minnick’s multi-family/office property management and construction experience spans almost 30 years. Prior to joining Bridge he had responsibility for Boston Financial’s Western US Multi-family portfolio, which exceeded 20,000 units. He also spent four years as Chief Operating Officer for Mount Olympus Builders, a construction/landscape company specializing in property rehabilitation, commercial maintenance and low-income housing. Mr. Minnick’s well-rounded career also includes two years in commercial office property management and leasing. He is a past president of the Utah Apartment Association; past Board of Directors Member of the Homebuilder Association of Greater Salt Lake, current member of the national Young President’s Organization and has earned the CCIM certification.
Dean Allara is Bridge’s Executive Vice-President. He has been involved with ownership, investment analysis, asset management, capital syndication and investor relations along with legal and tax issues for Bridge since its inception. Mr. Allara formally joined the organization in 2000 where, in addition to his previous responsibilities, he has gained significant experience in real property development including permits and zoning, Master planning, debt financing, insurance, construction management, HOA management, marketing and residential sales for several Bridge projects. His responsibilities have recently increased to include new investment sourcing. Previous experiences include a ten-year career with Trace Digital, a leading supplier of software manufacturing equipment worldwide where he rose from a Regional Sales Manager to President and Chief Executive Officer.
Bradley D. Andrus is President and Founder of Bridge Realty Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bridge Investment Group. Mr Andrus has established senior level relationships with leading lenders and provides mortgage banking and structured finance services to the company’s sponsored investments as well as an expanding list of third-party owners. Mr. Andrus was Senior Director for Finova Realty Capital for three years, where he had responsibility for the Mountain Region and personally originated over $250 million in commercial loans. Prior to Finova, he was a Vice-President for Mason McDuffie Financial Corp., where he originated and provided oversight of a $2 billion commercial real estate mortgage portfolio for ten exclusive life insurance companies located in the United States and Canada. Mr. Andrus is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Richard W. Stayner is President of Bridge Property Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bridge Investment Group, where he oversees the company’s extensive property management processes, personnel and operations on a day-to-day basis along with reporting procedures for Bridge’s institutional clients, joint venture partners and affordable housing authorities. Mr. Stayner has over 25 years of extensive multi-family property management experience including both large-scale conventional and affordable housing apartment projects along with condominium properties with Prowswood Companies, Boston Financial and Lend-Lease. As a Principal with Lend-Lease Real Estate Investments division, Mr. Stayner had responsibility for its multi-family assets in 11 Western US states along with acquisition market and operational analysis. He also developed Lend-Lease’s operational procedures for their management of the US Military Housing Privatization Project. Mr. Stayner has earned the Certified Property Management designation and is a past Board member of the Salt Lake Apartment Association as well as a past president of the Utah Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management.
T. Kevin Anderson is Bridge’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Anderson joined Bridge in 2000 as Controller to create Bridge Property Management and was promoted to CFO in 2001. He oversees the company’s accounting, financial reporting and corporate administration processes, personnel and systems. Mr. Anderson has almost 30 years experience with accounting, finance and administration. From 1998 – 2000, he was Vice-President of Finance and Administration for Sedgwick James in St. Louis (an insurance brokerage firm) responsible for budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, reporting and personnel. Prior to 1998, Mr. Anderson had corporate accounting responsibility for several Sedgwick offices in the eastern United States and eventually helped engineer the transition of the company to Marsh & McLennan. Mr. Anderson completed the Certified Public Accountant examination process in 1983.
